GEARHEADS HELP!!! BBE 482i vs 362 Sonic Maximizer

Hello Everyone!

Im looking for someone who can help explain to me the difference of the BBE 482i as compared to the 362 Sonic Maximizer. Im having one of these bought in the near future and i really need help choosing one.

I just know that the 482i is a newer model plus it uses some sort of newer BBE technology. and it costs less than getting 2 sonic stomps. (Sonic Stomps cost 99$ times 2 whereas the BBE 482i is 179$) But at the same time. The 362 costs as much as the sonic stomp! and its stereo!

I looking to install/mount this under/inside my guitar pedalboard so any help would be great! Thanks so much for your opinions in advance!

I want to get these cause there are some instances when i need to be out on 2 channels!. Buying 2 sonic stomps doesnt seem practical if i can get a cheaper rackmount one that has better (?) specs.

I dont know! Please help! thanks!

Jorel Smiley

Hey guys.
I play a bit of guitar, but recently decided I'd rather switch to bass.
I have a black fender acoustic which I've barely ever played up for sale if anyone is interested.
I'm selling it with a gig bag and 2 books with the included cd.
Here's the auction

Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks guys

I dont know much about the brands of good wireless instrument systems and i was just looking at a couple of brands in guitarcenter.com

The brands that sold the most and are rated nicely are the

2. AKG WMS PRO 40 guitar bug

can you guys please help me? i dont know which one to get. Im leaning towards the AKG PRO 40 one (not the guitarbug version) because people say that ones better than the guitarbug version.

im not too sure. some people one the other hand say that the downside to the WMS PRO 40 is that, it only has one channel/ frequency? what does that mean?

please help explain thanks! And can you guys suggest good ones that are at most 250usd? these ones are well within my budget and seem reliable. My friend told me that for as long as its a UHF receiver, then were okay.

Thanks in advance everyone!

Drum Software

Heya, ladies 'n fellers!

This isn't completely guitar-related, but I feel it's appropriate enough to ask fellow guitarists who may be in the same spot.

I've seen the Flash demo for the ToonTracks EZDrummer software, and I must say it looks very tempting. Sure, nothing beats (no pun intended) playing with other musicians and writing songs that way, but for the times when one needs to lay down drum tracks quickly while the songwriting inspiration hits, I think a drum machine software would be sweet. So, do any of you or anyone you know or anyone that anyone you know knows who may have used this have any input on it? I'm really tempted to save up the $179 (or $161.10 on Musicians Friend or Guitar Center) for it, but any user reviews would help.

I have a Toneworks AX1500G multiefects pedal, which is what i use basically for everything. Wanting to expand my rig a bit more and learn about effects in general, i managed to acquire a Boss OD-20 which is a fantastic distortion pedal (though i can squeeze out some insane tone from my Toneworks...) with the current set up, i use the Toneworks for the modulation effects and EQ and the OD-20 for the distorted tone, and then through a Dunlop Wah.

so... Would a Mesa/Boogie V-Twin be worth having in my rig? Will it do me good cuz i've heard tons of good things about both products and i'm torn between letting go of the OD 20, and having such a small distortion palette as compared to the Boss.

Decisions, decisions... thanks in advanced!
